I wish I could say that in my kitchen I have it all under control and every recipe turns out to be a magazine worthy success, but that would not be true. Even though most of my attempts at meal preparation turn out pretty good, there is still much for me to learn. I love cooking for my family in what we call Aunt Nubby's Kitchen, and I'll be sharing some of the food and family stories here at Sugar, Spice and Spilled Milk.
In my life before blogging I worked as a third grade teacher and then later as a school counselor. I've always been a book nerd, and I'll never have enough bookshelves. I also enjoy writing and traveling.
I previously published a cookbook called Blueberry Bistro for charity, and I have a couple of other books on the back burner.
