1 pound thinly sliced ham
1/2 pound sliced baby swiss cheese
1/2 pound sliced baby swiss cheese
18 Hawaiian sweet rolls
Sauce
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice rolls, prepare sandwiches on rolls with a layer each of ham and swiss cheese as desired. Place sandwiches in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
To prepare the sauce: In a medium saucepan, combine butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. Bring just to a boil over medium heat. Pour sauce OVER TOP of sandwiches, cover with foil and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for about two more minutes.

Slice the rolls, then layer with ham and cheese.

Prepare the sauce and pour over the top of the sandwiches.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes covered with foil, then about 2 minutes after removing the foil.

ReplyDeleteI make these sliders all the time, for parties! They are so easy and tasty. My only change, I use Dijon mustard.

ReplyDeleteYes Anita these are yummy. I've made a similar recipe but without the brown sugar. Now I need to try them with the brown sugar--honey baked ham sandwiches! Perfect Fathers Day food.
